After two disappointing results for the New Zealand delegation to the International Song Contest, they have decided to change tactics and go for an internal selection for the first time. International superstar, Natasha Bedingfield will be representing the country in the 30th edition of the contest, in an as yet unknown location. She will be singing a song from her second North American album, Pocket Full of Sunshine; the song is called A.N.G.E.L and is likely to be her next single in America and Canada. Natasha Bedingfield took part in the second Aotearoa Final (the New Zealand pre-selection) dueting with American R+B/Hip Hop star Sean Kingston with their song Love Like This but only reached 3rd place. Natasha and the New Zealand Delegation are hoping for a slightly better result in ISC30 but only time will tell. Good Luck to all the finalists in ISC29 and see you soon in the 30th Edition.

Women Behind the Songs: 'Hey There Delilah'
Delilah DiCrescenzo
From Plain White T's' 'Hey There Delilah' (2006)
Plain White T's frontman Tom Higginson wrote this ode to Columbia University steeplechase runner Delilah DiCrescenzo. He fell for Delilah and told her he'd written a tune about her, then quickly backed off when she asked to hear the song, which didn't exist yet. By the time he got around to penning the ditty, Delilah was long gone. She has since weighed in, saying, "Part of me wants to scream at the top of my lungs that it's about me. Another part of me wants to cower and say it's not."

Meanest Love Songs: No. 20
If Valentine's Day is when we celebrate infatuation and devotion, it's also a time of pain for the jilted and the lovelorn. The artists represented in the following 20 songs, which expose the flip side of romance, would likely agree with fellow bitter scribe Joe Jackson's words: "Fools in love -- are there any creatures more pathetic?" So, yeah, it's almost that time again. Happy &%$#in' Valentine's Day.
he Kiss-Off: "Packing up, shackin' up's all you want to do"
Stevie Nicks supposedly insisted that her then-boyfriend, bandmate Lindsey Buckingham, remove the line from this enthusiastic sayonara, which gave the Mac arguably their most enduring hit. Buckingham refused, and he had the added satisfaction of getting his soon-to-be-ex to sing backup on her own send-off.
